We chose the infamous Alcatraz Island as our excursion destination. The tour started 4:20PM Monday February 28th and lasted about 3 hours. It costs $33 for the tour and about $8 for the round trip public transportation from Berkeley. This is a very popular tour and tickets can sell out well in advance.
